A wonderful mixture prepared by my friend Yaakub from the Old City of Jerusalem. It has bay leaves, allspice, shatta pepper and black pepper, Cinnamon, Meshiya, star anise and more.
Suitable for baked, roasted or cooked meat.
I like to make a winter stew with this mixture, beef, potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes and garlic: Fry everything with a little olive oil for about ten minutes. Add red wine, cover and place in a hot oven for four hours. The smell in the house and the taste afterwards ...
